Want to learn how to make a one-of-a-kind, colorful birthday calendar using riso print, collage and illustration? Come join this creative and playful workshop at Studio Misprint in Utrecht!

It’s the perfect way to get to know riso printing while designing something personal and fun. You don’t need much experience (a little riso knowledge helps, but definitely not required).
During the workshop, we’ll go step-by-step through the riso process, and you’ll get busy with collage and drawing. You don’t have to prep anything beforehand, but feel free to bring your own images, textures or inspiration if you like that.

What we’ll do:
We’ll work completely analog with:

• Collage & illustration. We will be cutting, tearing, drawing with markers or using old magazines to build your calendar
• Two-color riso print. You get to pick your own color combo from 8 fun riso inks: red, fluor pink, aqua blue, medium blue, green, yellow, black and teal!

No laptops, no digital stuff, just paper, scissors, color and a good vibe. It’s a super relaxed workshop where you get to be in your hands and out of your head for a while. You definitely don’t need to be a pro illustrator to leave with something you’re proud of. It’s for everyone :)

You’ll go home with:
✨ Your own risoprinted birthday calendar, printed on heavy Biotop paper
✨ A better understanding of how riso printing works, from idea to print (but also fun if you are not interested in the riso print part)
✨ Snacks, drinks & a cozy afternoon in my sunny studio in Utrecht

The workshop lasts around 5 hours.
