Free Mindful Walk in Nature

Do you also long to spend more time in nature and don't do it enough?

Join us on our next walk, feeling the breeze on your cheeks, the soft ground under your feet, the rejuvenating feeling of being outside.

It is free and donation-based, purely for the pleasure of sharing a mindful moment with like-minded souls.

* WHAT KIND OF WALK? *

Not only is it a good opportunity to spend more time outside and meet kind-hearted souls, but the intention also lies in slowing down and connecting with your most authentic self.

Depending on the mood of the day, some walks might include a short meditation, a little stretch of silence, a poem, a land art activity, a little snack, ...

Come as you are, don't feel pressured to be in a certain mood, to make conversation or be anyone, your presence alone is meaningful.

* PRACTICAL INFO *

This time we will walk in the Maartensdijkse Bos in Hollandsche Rading.
This area will be a discovery for me too :-) The route is said to be easy, and goes through forest and heath. - Meeting point: Train Station Hollandsche Rading, in front of the cafe called "Het Perron"
- Start time: 10h30 (please arrive 5-10min earlier so we can gather smoothly)
- Duration: we aim for a +/- 2-hour walk
- Cost: free of charge – you're welcome to make a wee donation if you enjoyed it

* WHAT TO BRING? *

- Warm/cool, dry and comfortable clothing and shoes (appropriate for the weather that day)
- A bottle of water / warm tea mug
- Yourself, just as you are :-)
- Optional: anything you may feel like offering (a meditation, a poem, a song, a snack...)

* WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD? *

Rain or shine, we'll be on the paths :-)
If the walk really needs to be cancelled, we'll send a notification to those who signed up through this page.

* WHO IS ORGANISING? *

Join the Soul Hug community and friends.
Soul Hug is my passion project. Through different ways (yoga, art, walks, ...), I aim to create safe spaces where others can slow down, be guided to listen inward and give space to what lies inside. Hopefully leading to a deeper connection with yourself - so you can move through life with more ease, authenticity, and joy.

Walking in nature is a powerful way to reconnect with yourself and with the present moment. The gentle and steady rhythm of movement, and feeling the natural world around you calms the nervous system, soothes the mind, and lifts up your mood. You will likely leave feeling more calm and grounded, with a deepened breath.
